The Branch Sales stall is run by the branch for its members.
It opens each month at
the meeting and enables the members to have access to a range of Family
History orientated books ranging from books for beginners, books on
local history, books containing indexes to censuses and many more.
The stall also has a stationery section in which we sell albums
in which to put certificates and other memorabilia as well as the acid free
inserts. |

|
At each meeting we have a speaker. Our speakers talk on a wide range of
subjects all related to Family History - either directly with subjects such as
Censuses or Parish Records or Civil Registration or indirectly which give
a background to the lives and times of our ancestors.
The programme on our home page will give you more details |

Our meetings give our members the opportunity to chat amongst themselves over
tea and coffee to people who may have answers to their family history
problems and who may be able to help break down some of their brick walls
and most of all love to talk to others about their hobby. |

|
|
Our help desk is the contact point where members can ask questions and be
pointed in the right direction to get the answer |

At
each meeting, after the speaker we have opportunity for coffee and tea and a
chat with other members |

We have a Lending Library open each month which is a resource that
enables members to browse and borrow
books for the following month. |
