Notes:
The Preston branch was formed in February 1977, and at each monthly meeting there is a bookstall where various books covering many aspects of family history can be purchased. Beginners classes are held as required for new members and the branch also holds exhibitions and workshops from time to time. Refreshments are provided at each meeting at a nominal charge, and raffle is held each month.
