1851 Census Index Books 
These Indexes give Surnames and the Folio Nos. where the surnames can be found on the census microfilm .The Index books cover all of Lancashire and are a major project published by the Society and others.

1851 Census: Full Transcript Books
 As the name implies, these give all the information contained on the original census folios; Forenames, Surnames, relationship, age, occupation, place of birth etc. of each person and household. Plus Maps and an Index. These Full Transcripts are part of an ongoing project and currently cover all of North Lancashire and part of the Fylde. (See maps)
